Where is AK.LUX.NAILS?
1357 Seventh Ave, Ste C, San Diego, CA 92101. We're in the Core-Columbia district of Downtown San Diego, about a 5-minute drive from Balboa Park. Street parking is available on 7th Ave.
What are your hours?
We are open every day, 8:00 AM – 9:00 PM, by appointment.
Do you use acrylic?
No. We work with gel only and never use acrylic, on any service.
Do you do Gel-X nails?
We no longer offer Gel-X as a separate service. The closest thing we do is the Gel Nail Extension: traditional gel extensions with added length, finished with gel polish. If you are wearing a Gel-X set now, we can remove it; choose the Gel X removal option when you book.
Is your pedicure done in water?
No. It is a dry pedicure: there is no water soak or foot bath. The skin and cuticles are prepared dry.
What if something isn't right after my visit?
Every service is covered by our 14-day guarantee: if something isn't right, we fix it free.
